Show & Tell Friday

When my grandpa passed away a few years ago, my dad brought home a little box full of slides. Going through them, I quickly realized that these slides with the red are pictures from when my dad was a little boy. Most of them seem to be from the mid-late 1940's. What little treasures! I took them up to Wal-Mart and had the images put onto a cd. I could not believe the quality of these pictures! They are incredible!

I found these picture of my grandparents in these slides. They look to have been taken close to the same time. I love them because they capture the essence of the kind of people they were. I used these pictures in these two layouts where I listed some things that reminded me of them. They are in my album of most favorite pictures.

Thanks for checking out my Show & Tell today.

What great treasures you discovered. We had hundreds of old slides, but they just went back to the 60s. We recently got a scanner that scans slides. It just scanned six at a time so it took a long time to get them all scanned, but I'm glad I did.
